Dro'lan
Dro'lan is a prized and particularly colorful Portal Horse, accustomed to Portal Travel due to his former work at the Portal Exchange. He is now the faithful and stalwart travel companion of Siara Stormblossom as she seeks her place in the world.

Identifying Characteristics
Dro'lan's dun hide is covered in cyan, magenta, red, and green Portal Marks, a result of frequent Portal Travel by his pregnant mother and then later as a working horse for Fai'la Stormblossom's work at the Portal Exchange. His brown mane and tail also adopt the same colorations in times of heavy portal usage, although unlike his hide these will eventually grow out without further contact from the portals.

Personal history
Dro'lan is a "Painted Portal Horse," originally painted by a renowned Rol'nara artist by sending his pregnant mother through portals at the Portal Exchange in the hope of crafting a particular Portal Marked aesthetic. He originally belonged to Fai'la Stormblossom, a gift from her stern father in an effort to prove his social standing within the community. When Fai'la began work as a Portal Guide at the Exchange he quickly became her favorite working horse due to his particularly mild temperament.
Shortly after the death of her mother Fai'la gifted the loyal Portal Horse to her estranged sister, Siara Stormblossom, as an attempted peace offering to mend their fractured relationship. Dro'lan now travels with Siara and her friends, Talenthar and Matthias.

Portal Horses are bred for their mild manners even in the face of uncomfortable magic. Dro'lan remains docile, obedient, and loyal to a fault.

Relationship Reasoning
Dro'lan was a gift to Siara from her sister Fai'la Stormblossom, once Fai'la learned of Siara's intentions to travel with a Seeker of the Followers of the Hidden Flame. While Siara believes the gift was more from a sense of guilt or obligation she does acknowledge that the docile Dro'lan has saved her and her friends on multiple occasions. She has grown to love the colorful horse, despite the fact he reminds her of her tumultuous relationship with her older sister.
