Otherworldly planes are those inhabited by gods, demons, and those who have passed on to the higher planes, rather than mortal sapient species of the lower planes. Non-natives of these planes wishing to survive their visit require some level of protection such as Shielding from a native of the plane, or a mastery of Necromancy.
