Myrrdin (a.k.a. The Druid of Plantrise)

Potential greatness lies within all of us. Hard work is the key to bring it to light
— Myrrdin
Myrrdin is the fifth of the Druid Circle of Life, the Knitter of Plantrise. He is responsible for awakening the plants from their frozen slumber, knitting the warmth of the sun into the ground.   He is the patron of laborers, lending them the endurance to complete their tasks and blessing the results of each according to their personal efforts.

Holidays

Festival of Plantrise

The Festival of Plantrise falls on the first day of Plantrise in the Druidic Calendar. In traditional farming communities this a working holiday, with family and friends banding together to seed the fields for the growing season.   During the War of Generations the Arcturians were largely confined to their cities, unable to farm. Their eventual development of Aquaponics allowed them to grow food indoors, free from the confines of the seasonal plantings and harvests. The Festival of Plantrise evolved over time to include a celebration of the growers and their bounty, with celebrants assisting the growers in maintenance and sometimes adding additional growing space. Now that the War has ended and traditional farming techniques are again possible these new traditions have become a part of the old.
