  Rhydderch is the eigth of the Druid Circle of Life, the Knitter of Sunfade. He prepares the world for the harsh embrace of ice and dark, knitting the song of security and sleep.   He is the patron of the dying, comforting the faithful as they prepare for the long sleep.

Rhydderch is the patron of Sleep and Death, encouraging the faithful to prepare for a well deserved rest.

Acorn

A new life inside a dead shell, the acorn prepares and awaits the change of seasons to begin anew. So too must the faithful.  

Stag Horn

The horn of a stag falls off with the frost, and regrows in greater strength with the thaw. So too must the faithful shed their old lives in preparation for the new.

Festival of Sunfade

The Festival of Sunfade falls on the first day of Sunfade in the Druidic Calendar. It is a celebration of hope for the future, and a remembrance of the beloved dead. The faithful display tokens of those lost throughout the prior years, items of value to the deceased, and share stories of their lives and memories.
